Awesome Husband on my Birthday

I had to comment and brag that I have an awesome husband. He gave me, literally, the day off today! He took care of the kids,all of them, made lunch, made a cake with the kids, let me relax and do whatever I wanted to do without interruption for at least a couple of hours and did the dishes more than once today! :) I feel like I could use a birthday like this more than once a year!!!! And I am writing this so I don't forget what he does for me!

Actually, Ben is a great help everyday, but it was even more today! Love you!

31 here we come!

I have loved being 30 and don't want it to be over. I am loving my life. I am comfortable in my own skin, I know exactly who I am, lately I've been trying the best mom to my kids, I strive to work hard, I love my husband, my faith is strong and I feel so blessed.

Now all of that sounds like I have the perfect life. I don't. And some moments I am not the best mom and I am always striving to keep my faith steady, but looking back ten years ago or even a few years ago, I have grown and I like who I've become overall.

I hope that I can strive to be a better person continually to those around me.

I think the beauty of age is the growth we hopefully incur along the way with each passing year. We live and learn and both can be so fulfilling!

I don't mind turning 31 and I will embrace it, but I think the physical aging is what I really want to stop! ;)

'My dad has always said that you are as young as you want to be or as old as you want to be.' I feel that is true!

Smok'n Deal

We got a smok'n deal on a bike trailer/jogger off of craiglist!It is totally used, but it works and that is what counts! I love getting deals -especially when they cost nearly nothing compared to buying new! I am so excited to use it. One of our goals is to get outdoors more and now we can all bike together and stick Benji in the bike trailer. Then when I want to walk and one of the older kids don't want ride their bike, I can stick them in this! yeah!! :)

Love Love my sisters and my mom! They are a great support system for me in lots of ways. Each of them individually help me in my life, continually. They are wonderful women in their own right. I have special friendship with all of them. We share a strong bond being 'Hill' women and I am proud to call them my family!

Snow, Snow and More Snow!

We took a trip up to the snow for the new year and the kids loved it. They put their snow gear on and off they went! I loved being up in the mountains with piles of snow in every direction. I don't think I want to live in it always,but for a couple of days it was fun.
